What started as a simple effort to bring families together has quickly transformed into one of the most anticipated annual celebrations in Kitsap County.

Back in 2023, Michael Talpai of Patriot Roofing set out to host a community Daddy-Daughter Dance at the local Elks Lodge. While the inaugural evening was a cozy, intimate affair, it sparked the beginning of something much larger. During the event, a fellow business acquaintance offered some candid, constructive feedback: the event concept was fantastic, but it needed a far stronger marketing push to truly reach the community.

Around that same time, Deborah Rants was launching her new digital marketing agency, Milestone Marketing. After introducing herself and her services at a Kitsap Business Association meeting, she connected with Michael. The two quickly realized they shared a passion for community building, local business collaboration, and bringing memorable events to life.
